I personally like R3 and L3 and use them all the time. You don’t need to move your thumb from the stick, and you get to press a button. Anything promoting less thumb travel is a plus. The extra triggers are also good for that. You can remap something from the face buttons to the back so you can move your thumbs less

Characters riding in cars isn’t the only weird movie trend. I’ve noticed some others, like characters standing on the ground or characters sitting on a couch. How do they think of these things?

Why does that PS4 controller look so wrong while the others are accurate?

Hey guys, I know you don’t want to hear this, but the real explanation is that there’s no continuity because the game developers, many guys who worked on many different projects over decades, don’t care about this kind of thing.

Cranky Kong, not “Kranky Kong.”

ok boomer.

That’s not a another version of the cartridge; it’s a different game.

It’s “Shodown.” Samurai Shodown.

Thank you so much for this.

Always play (or see) everything in chronological order of release. Writers are toiling over these stories based on the idea that certain information is already out there from previous releases. Viewing the plot in an unintended order is a slap in the face to story crafters.

>80% of the reviews have been positive, according to Metacritic. >16% mixed and >2% negative. I guess we just choose to see data in different ways.

I don’t want all the comments to be sad, so I’ll share that I’m really enjoying this game and play about two levels per day. It’s basically just enough to get my heart rate up for about 20-30 minutes in the morning. Am I going to put muscle on playing this game? Nah, but the ring provides a surprisingly great amount

I absolutely did not mean to dismiss that one, so I apologize. Please cut it with the personal attacks, though. I will dismiss those every time. If you can’t have a civil conversation, it doesn’t deserve to be here, and I don’t have to tolerate it.

I meant to say just commenters on this site and Polygon—of course I’ve seen the negative and mediocre publication reviews on Metacritic. I just can’t be too concerned with the discussion of the score when I already have the game in my PS4 and I’m enjoying the hell out of it. It’s one of the most engaging and

Nah, I just don’t have the patience to deal with personal attacks on www dot kotaku dot com.

It says enough about the hivemind that someone can state a bald-faced lie about the score IGN gave the game and still he gets upvotes.

That’s an average of 15 perfect scores and two very bad scores, with a bunch in between.

IGN gave it a 6.8 and were one of five publications that gave it a score in the 6–6.9 range and one of seven publications total that gave it below a 7. Again, 15 gave it a perfect score. It’s not impossible or even improbable that four reviewers would give it a 10.

There are 15 publications listed on Metacritic that gave this game a perfect score. There are close to 10 others that gave it a near-perfect score. It’s not that hard to believe.

This is especially interesting considering all the publications that gave this game a perfect or near-perfect score that DON’T have cameos in the game. Or wait, maybe that means this isn't interesting at all.
