They did some retouching for sure. Some of the blue parts looks red or white in the final cover. That can’t be explained solely by exposure or saturation.

The Chinese government didn’t censor this. A news publication did.

The first few articles reporting on this said that it looked that way in the game, which there was never any evidence of. Glad that's been cleared up.
