That is what Breath of the Wild is. Every timeline eventually becomes Breath of the Wild.

If you understood Shakespeare, you would know that the examples above are nothing like it. They are utter gibberish. Also, he wrote plays (and poetry), not “stories.”

Shocker: Shakespeare didn’t write in Old English. Not even Middle English. He wrote in Modern English, i.e., the language we speak today. Words in a language come and go all the time, but it doesn’t change what language you’re speaking.

I’m glad I haven’t played Octopath Traveler yet, because if I’d seen that type of language mid-game, I would’ve been very upset. It’s utterly stupid.

Something sorely lacking from this article is an explanation of two relevant terms:

How is Chasm lacking as a metroidvania? As a fan of the genre, it’s checking all the boxes for me.

I’ve been playing Chasm for about 6 hours now, and I see absolutely nothing wrong with their procedural map so far. The room design is awesome, and there’s nothing about the layout of the map so far that would ever lead me to believe it’s procedurally generated, if I didn’t know. And I’ve played a lot of Metroids,

I’ve been looking forward to Chasm for a long time. I remember giving some feedback on their message board years ago. I’m not too put off by the fact that it’s derivative, as I knew that going in. I haven’t played a metroidvania in a while anyway.

PS4 Pro. Why, are all the screenshots I’ve seen on the internet also from PS4 Pros?

Are they the same eggs from the game that were there back at launch? Yeah, farming those things is pretty dangerous.

I was glad to see I still had my old ship and multitool, both with tons of slots. I had some pretty nice equipment, lots of warp fuel, and a fair chunk of money—admittedly because I used the item duplication trick back in the day. Now that all of my tech is “obsolete,” it’ll be fun to start over in that regard.

I’ve found some pretty huge lakes before. In fact, I can remember two distinct times there have been facilities underwater, at the bottom of lakes. One of them had predatory sea creatures. That was pretty cool—I felt like I was diving for sunken treasure.

I played it last night, for the first time since my 27 hours at launch, and I’m confused about what they did with the clouds/sky in general. It almost always looks really bad—pixellated, blurry, and full of what look like compression artifacts. Even in the recent article about pretty screenshots, half of them have

I played right at launch. Not sure if that makes a difference.

That’s really weird. I only played for about 30 hours and ran into other people’s systems/planets at least 5–10 times.

Why limit it to a specific genre? Unless the game centers on a very limited online service, just wait it out. It’s more cost-effective, and any game gets QOL improvements through patches.

Wow, no way. I had no idea this update was coming, but now I want to load it up again.

The former.

“Despicable bastards” wasn’t a good enough clue that I was being facetious? You actually know people who talk like that? Good god.

I don’t agree. I’m also really interested in making my own pizza from scratch, and while I find the intricacies of how yeast works, dough hydration levels, and fermentation performance at different temperatures really interesting, I am not the slightest bit interested in the economics of flour or scaling recipes for
