Why don’t coworkers want to tell each other what they make? I’m not proud of my salary, but it is what it is and I started working during the recession. A few of us started talking about salary recently because I took a new job and I told them what I’m going to be making, and they somehow changed the conversation

Looks like a Kia or something, who cares?

Not speaking about the specific program mentioned in this article, just on universal loan forgiveness that a lot of my peers are always begging for:

The characters you don’t interact with all have a a couple basic designs and are meant to blend in. They literally disappear when you walk through them. I don’t see the problem with that. I don’t think every main character needs to be a surprise like, “omg, I thought that was just a background character and now

“They suddenly told me it was time to go,” Beristain said in a statement from his legal team. “They told me to get my stuff, they put me in the back of a van, and sped toward the border.”

Yeah, but at least now you should be able to get up to speed faster. Lack of experience is one thing, but your previous salary won’t be holding you back.

Yeah, seriously. I was so incredulous over the fact that there wasn’t one good link in this article that I didn’t feel like looking it up myself.

Oh, interesting. I wanted to find out for myself, but this article failed to link to any actual information about this bill.

This is awesome, but I wish it applied to everyone. Of course, women and POC need an extra bump, but basing people’s salary off of their previous salary is shitty for everyone and just a cheap, insulting hiring practice. Recognizing that this is a problem but still allowing this bogus hiring practice for underpaid men

This isn’t about spoilers. It’s about protecting intellectual property and not letting others profit off of your content. For the same reason you’re not allowed to make money by selling tickets to screenings of DVDs you buy, you are not allowed to make money from Youtube/Twitch by streaming games. Of course, it’s up

I really don’t like seeing labor abuse romanticized like this.

Yeah, but you’re also not going to use soap on your anus every time you take a shit, but at least it’s cleaner than wiping with no water.

Because it’s cleaner (for your butt and your hands), faster (more often than not), and uses less toilet paper (which is good for your budget and your septic system) than relying on toilet paper alone.

Yeah, I have to wonder how much pushback they got from their agency(/ies) before deciding to go through with it internally.

Yeah, I would go with the latter, too. Air drying doesn’t really seem necessary considering I want to wipe to make sure everything’s clean anyway.

I absolutely agree with Atlus and the content protection laws on this. Streaming the gameplay in a game like this can really hurt sales more than with other types of games.

This game’s OST is going to be my work-to music for a while. So great.

It’s because people watching this on streams wouldn’t have been forced to agree that it’s fictional, so they might mistake it for reality and sue Atlas for making a social statement.

Yeah, I thought this was really weird. Usually you can get away with putting this disclaimer in the credits, but they make you agree to it before the game?

I was going to say (as someone who has worked in advertising my whole career) that this seems exactly like an idea a client would come up with.
