that sounds like a fun day of wrenching; did you post about it in oppo? I was away all weekend.

that is what you get for buying a BMW without a soul.

Why would it be bad for the car? Modern cars I thought had ECU's that will change air/fuel ratio based off of the nature of combustion so if a knock is sensed from low octane fuel more fuel will be added to the mix to counteract and maintain ideal stoichiometric efficiency. Albeit at a loss of mpg.

How long did it take you to change the timing belt and water pump?

this is a great question

Blinker fluid is not a real thing; it is a joke on the internet meant to fool people.

what makes working for Jalopnik the best job in the car industry?

::heavy breathing::

who else from Jalopnik works in NYC? time to expand the fleet!

porsche has diluted their brand; they have lost their way and do not make great enthusiast cars anymore.

Agreed. Lotus should stick to their core values.

Fisker is doing what Saab should do; make the cars exactly the same even though they went bankrupt making cars nobody wanted. Because, dammit, stubbornness is critical for success.

I've got 999 problems but a Ford ain't one.

Cadillac is pregnant!? GREAT NEWS!

Other automakers that have lost their way:

Chris Harris wrote that article to make a name for himself. It worked.

It looks like he did. What is wrong with saying that?

Oh, I thought you did for some reason. What is your daily driver?

No, my beef is with Ferrari the company. I don't like the way they treat reporters and use ringers for tests. I don't like their arrogance, their holier-than-thou attitude about everything. I don't like that, despite the amazing style and performance they offer, that they seem to have no sense of fun or humor at all.
