Do you watch any of the battle leagues that post matches on youtube?

Can someone explain the appeal of mock rap battles online for me? Ever since I first saw Epic Rap Battles of History, I thought it was corny and probably made by someone who maybe saw a minute and a half of 8 Mile and never watched an actual rap battle.

It's a shame he passed his villainous magnus opus long ago with the release of the first Men In Black movie.
