Also I honestly don't know what great revelations you normally expect from the AV Club comment section to where this irked you so much, unless you thought that whole 5th dimension aspect was actually good.

I think you're reading too deeply into the fact that I thought Interstellar's plot was really, really dumb and the only things that redeemed the movie were the animation and actors involved. So basically the money they threw at the film.

Interstellar was shit with high production value, it's the film equivalent of a lamborghini garbage truck.
