Maybe GM is planning a whole Bolt Family of EVs? They could even do some creepy commercials with a giant person made out of Bolts.

Bill Mitchell’s loving homage to the 1936 Cord 810, a very early and flawlessly executed example of retro design.
Well, it is a little over 17 feet long, which makes it shorter than a Town Car and longer than a Challenger, but that image is not to scale. Advertising art in the 1950s and 1960s often exaggerated the size of the car in proportion to the people, to make already generously sized vehicles look even more enormous.
You mean like that guy named Anthony Michael Hall who stole my car stereo?
I’m willing to bet he didn’t even serve the pizza on a tin plate.
When he bought it, he pointed out that there was a block of wood wedged between the frame and the body on one side, I don’t know if he removed it or not (though his comments seemed to suggest he wanted it gone). That might indicate a prior owner’s attempt to correct the leaning.
I’ve been passed by Amish buggies a number of times - they have their own lane on the shoulder, so when traffic is stop and go, they just keep going.
The sliding doors are way too practical to make it on a production version, unless its purely for Asian markets, where luxury minivans are a thing.
All I know is, if the current ForFour were sold here, there’d be one in the garage right now. Not joking.
Look how derpy Homer looks with his eyes pointing in different directions. The old animation style was almost as important to the humor of classic Simpsons as the writing.
I suppose that explains why Japan’s obesity rate has reached nearly 1 in 20 now.
Smart didn’t yet really have a practical EV drivetrain at the time the Tesla Roadster came out (and, at 58 miles range, I wouldn’t say they exactly have one now).
Airfares are still half of what they were 40 years ago, in constant current dollars.
Im perfectly fine with not reclining, it’s the partial undressing and unpacking of the briefcase to get through security that I have a problem with.
If you're one of the many who shops purely by lowest ticket price, then, yes, yes it is. Pay less, get less.
If customers stopped shopping tickets based purely on lowest possible price, this wouldn't even be an issue. Everyone wants to get where they're going for the absolute rock-bottom price they can get, then complain that the experience isn't as comfortable and enjoyable as it was back in 1979. If comfort, service, and…
No they wouldnt, because tickets on the airline with more seat room would be slightly more expensive. That’s how we got to this in the first place, everyone shops based solely on the cheapest possible fare.
Longer wingspan, but the An-225 is still ca. 37 feet longer fore-aft, has about 100,000 lb higher max takeoff weight, and a greater internal volume within the fuselage.
No, but I'd say GM's finish quality is better, and their drivetrains tend to be more durable. FCA seems to use nicer interior materials though.
Ive stopped recommending cars to family and friends who arent “car people” because they never listen to me anyway, they just want OK on the decision they already made. And they know my recommendation is going to usually be something like an ES or a Camcord if they really just need an appliance type car.
