Doing it properly is. By adapting it a classic story into a fictional vlog, Cho et al. had the responsibility of doing Austen justice while updating the story into modern terms and fitting it into the vlog (i.e. very personal) format. Vlogging creates a very one-sided perspective that the writers very neatly

B, because even though I know Nathan Fillion was intentionally underused as a subversion of expectations, I want more Nathan Fillion in nerd-related things over less Nathan Fillion in nerd-related things

Wonderfully described. I particularly like your final line.

Of course, eight isn't a good number to go by, but good storytelling should dictate that if they are going to insist that it works 2/3 times, you only show it working 2/3 times.

They just said he was boring. He can be grounded and work with underprivileged kids on music and still be boring.

Was it as cute as when Cristina Miloti did it? I bet it wasn't

I hope they actually do something with that, considering it's one of the few things we know about her that isn't instantly connectable to Ted. Even if that's a dream she has had to downgrade to something a bit more individually attainable, I hope she's at least volunteering at a soup kitchen (where she could have

I would have loved a two-part event, to give it the status it deserves, but I'm betting the writers also considered it a challenge to fit all this equal mythos into a single episode, which improved the quality

Something that gnaws at me is that it does better than that, based on our in-show examples. In the episode it's introduced, it works for Mitch on Robin, Ted on Random Floozy A, and Lily on Marshall, but not for Barney on Random Floozy B. In this episode, it works for Mitch on the first two girls he mentioned,

He only had to switch genres to do it!

Thank you for mentioning The Pause. Beautiful usage of show mythology

Have I done it before? That's not good

Sure, I'm four months late, but I'd like to confirm that "accent à droit" is what was said. It means that the accent goes to the right, which is exactly what an accent aigu is. So you're both right (and so is the accent)!

Originally I loved the multiple perspectives approach. But eventually, with the delayed shipping schedule, it just became numbing. It'll probably read better over trade

Today in things I will regret being associated with me out of context:

That doesn't fit the personalities of Marley or Ryder, never mind Glee itself. Pseudo-Finn and Ol' Sandra Dee are Vanilla and Low Fat Vanilla, respectively. Not that anybody should have sex before they want to, but for pete's sake, if Marley isn't ready for sex, I don't see her dating more than one guy.

I'm indecisive over whether that was her being attractive or just acting flirty to play up how perfect he would be as a male model. If I had some sway with a photographer and a friend was trying to be a model, I'd probably act exactly how Rachel did this episode, though perhaps less "Just The Way You Are" at the end.

Bummer that they had to drop the ratings now, as I've usually marked Glee better than the community, but this was such a nothing episode. It wants to progress the plot, by reminding us that people should be trying to get into colleges, but it does it in such a boring way. That's a real disappointment, as Glee often
