Just like all the good stuff, all the black lines are in the trailer.

Looks like Daryl may be making that choice this season.  There's clearly a Carol thing with him and Beth holds him pretty close at the end of the trailer.

First-time watcher, take eight!

If Peter David could just write everything, that'd be fantastic

Would have been nice to see Yale Stewart get some recognition for his excellent JL8 comic, but them's the breaks.

Kieron Gillen could also do a really good I Made You a Mixtape

Unstable Molecules was an awfully depressing book.  Don't go to that if you have any plans to be a productive member of society for the rest of the day.

I took that 2008 collection out from the library so many times in high school.  Legitimately would put my name on the holds list as soon as I returned it.  Though yes, I'm aware of the dickish-ness in doing so, that thing got teenagehood like nothing I've ever read.

I disagree, to an extent.  Can she carry a superhero movie on her own?  Fuck no.  Most superhero movies, origin ones at least, introduce a regular schmuck, give her powers, have a baddie kick their ass, have them level up, then they knock around the BBEG with a little help from a sidekick/romantic partner/bro.  Black

So, @avclub-2ea667a5830b59ba21bcd2315ddc2014:disqus, the question remains: did you listen to your guidance counselor?

Is it because he cares the least about his image (which I'll agree he does) or just that Nick actually thinks it's cool that their guidance counselor can sing Alice Cooper?  As much as I like Nick, that boy has the social recognition cues of a squirrel.

Well I don't think it takes a psychic to see this "relationship" is going nowhere fast.  I think I just have higher expectations of Lindsay's maturity, hoping that she could see the consequences of this action.

A fair point, though I'm of the opinion she should have cut him off before things blew up like they did.  The girl in my story was perfectly kind to me as well, so I think the comparison is still apt

I think that's an accurate assessment.  I've become accustomed to other shows' slapstick humour that would have overblown how bad he was.

Like Nick, I once had a girl I was very into lead me on.  In the eighth grade, a group of people who had previously been friends of mine began to treat me like shit due to the influence of a neighbour I brought into our social group (nice, eh?).  Anyway, I continued to hang out with this group for most of the year,

I suppose.  It did kinda gnaw at me that she didn't pull him aside afterwards and say something similar to what you wrote.  Ah, adolescence!

But still, aren't hugs more comforting than make-outs?  For a natural comforter, it's not cool to toy with someone's emotions like that

As someone with a complete lack of musical talent, I didn't notice Nick as completely bad in this episode.  I expected him to not know the song and be incapable of playing without a snare drum for every which note.  Sure the guy before him was way better, but it wasn't a complete craptastrophe.  He was at least better
