Well fuck
Well fuck
As a first-time watcher, I can't believe NBC did that. This has been the most integral episode of the show thus far, even more than the pilot. Kim Kelly had just reached the stage of becoming a boring character. Sure, having an out and out antagonist is fun, but her berating of Lindsay for no reason had reached the…
So I had a friend who became a neighbour a few years after knowing him. Needless to say, we were at each others' houses frequently. My folks were never huge on the video games and whatnot when I was growing up (financial stability > indulging your kids' every whim), so I always preferred to visit friends' houses.…
She lacks the practice of an Emily Gilmore, but my god can Paris whip up a good cynical burn
I don't recall anything too awful for costumes, but, like Neal, I ended up getting hooked in by a couple friends into going trick-or-treating. The difference was that in my case it was grade 11 or 12.
@avclub-eac75edc18b8546c46893fe4b75ab995:disqus honestly, when has Dan ever been accused of self-censorship? This is the guy who led the chant of "Chevy sucks!" in front of the man's family.
Funny thing is, Queen Cersei is her sister's sister-in-law.
If we're including school dances, I kinda cringe at this one from middle school. Anyway, I had been finding the same girl for the six or so slow dances all night. I started busting my (much cooler) friend's chops for not having danced with anybody. On the last slow dance he went to go ask the girl I had been dancing…
"and, also, he looks like James Franco"
I've been thinking about getting into this show for a couple years now. I think I'm now just removed enough to not be haunted about seeing myself in any of the awkward encounters, but close enough to see events unfolding exactly appropriate to high school. So far, I think they undercut some of the cheese (Sam gets…
I concur with you on that being my favourite Dean scene. Other than Luke, we really don't see anyone else understand that mother-daughter dynamic nearly as well. Sure, over the years Sookie picked up on it pretty well, and Lane was the kind of friend you just happened to find dancing around your room in the morning,…
Thank you for accurately summing up my feelings RE Ted and Robin
Um, HAR!?
Where did the season three closing hatred come from, by the way? Christ, the show ended on two As
Shit, am I the only person who appreciated that line? They aren't important characters and Will threw in a meta joke so the show could save a few bucks. I mean, I was upset that they just dropped off the radar, but I definitely laughed in the end.
I understand that there has been quite the confusion, but yeah, Unique most certainly is a transgender woman. She identifies as female, that's why we refer to her using feminine pronouns. She even stood up to her parents to be in Unique persona all the time, rather than Wade for most of the time.
Favourite episode: Mixology Certification
Who decided Lorelai was worth liking, by the way? Everybody in Stars Hollow is very self-sufficient (many run their own businesses, for example), but in comes this sixteen year old kid who has thoroughly rejected the silver spoon she was born in her mouth with. Better than that, she runs away from a stable…
Miss Patty, you may not be first on the billing right now, but you're always first in our hearts!
Not really. If Robin can only stand up to her dad by proxy of Barney, it kinda kills Robin as a strong female character by making her white knight do all the work
