I don’t disagree - I think it’s ludicrous. The drama teacher, though, immediately had the moral high ground and instead of responding in a dignified way, his post devolved into something overly dramatic and petty. He had such a great opportunity here and he squandered it in childish pettiness.

Somewhat controversially, I’m not sure I agree with the response from this teacher. As homophobic Facebook rants go, the original post is pretty mild. The mother did not, at any point, suggest that his ability to teach her children was impaired by being gay, she simply stated that, as she disagreed with his lifestyle…
