If only you had been around in 1645 for the spring powered cart disaster.

I recall a similar story on Jalopnik in 1892 when a steam powered car crashed and blew up and painfully scolded dozens, then again in 1912 when a gas powered car blew up in a giant fireball after hitting a mule team and diving off the road. And here we are in 2016 watching a video of super dense batteries exploding. I

China, Saudi Arabia - there are crazy bastards all around the world.

Sure, but a savvy teen who has spent his own money on the car will have the brains and respect to not put it into a house an hour after he buys it.

The stacks of tires make me think that someone saw a picture of a racetrack that had them and put them around because of that reason, and not for any safety reason.

If I buy music, I’m allowed to:

I really don’t know how this is different. OK, so to me its pretty clear if I copy Deere’s

Because they do make solid equipment that is very reliable and has unlimited parts and accessories.

This begs the question...why do people keep buying John Deere? They're like the Harley Davidson of farm equipment.

If the manufacturers want to contend that you can’t work on a vehicle, any vehicle because they own the code, then that’s fine. But if I can’t work on my own vehicle, you have to warranty it indefinitely. Fair? I mean, it’s their freaking code, right? They should have to fix it.

I already pre-ordered I Am Setsuna. I got high hopes and will be satisfied if it’s only half as good as Chrono Trigger. I like a lot of modern RPGs but being 32 yo this will be my guilty-pleasure to play one done with the old style, out of nostalgia ofc.

I disagree with you about Pokemon, but you’re 100% right about his lack of tact. Mocking a defeated opponent is unsportmanlike; mocking an injured opponent is even more so. When there’s a chance of permanent injury or even death, one should treat the sport with more gravity than a game directed at kids.
