Mass Effect isn’t just better than recent Star Trek, it’s better Star Trek than recent Star Trek. The story of the Krogans in particular is a classic Prime Directive fable.
Mass Effect is one of my all-time favourite sci-fi franchises. Personally I prefer it to Star Wars and a lot of the more recent Trek.
