“Don’t let a person you never met influence your life”
Don’t let a person you never met influence your life, is how I go about it.
I get it. I really do. But I’m not there anymore. I tried to avoid the issue, but realized quite quickly that you simply can’t. I know too many people who’ve been hurt by the sort of nonsense that trump and his ilk perpetuate. And a large part of why I’ll keep rejecting his whole ‘thing’, is because I know that people…
Nope. If you want to insulate yourself from the attitude of trump and people like him, knock yourself out. But I’m not going to.
As a non-American, not even living in America, Trump’s policies and horrific public behaviour still affected me directly, so I feel entitled to my revulsion towards him and his enablers. I don’t have to meet him to have an opinion about him.
Even your basic F-150 is a highboy model these days.
Elongelicals works as a name for this crowd.
Starred for the reference to “What We do In the Shadows”.
I imagine that’s what’s going to happen with the electric motor David’s planning on putting in this thing.
Maybe you could get a junkyard 4.0 to bolt up to drive it home?
Dude, you still need to bail. Right now you’re spiraling down the drain of “sunk cost” and need to stop before you flush yourself.
I’m fairly convinced that true autonomy will only be possible when the roads actively work with cars. Stop signs emit a signal alerting the vehicle to the fact that it’s real, it’s spectacular, and it commands you to stop (for instance). And that is going to require significant infrastructure investment that is…
Yeah, really. Hence why this article exists.
You keep talking about the Tesla as a luxury EV. Price does not equate to luxury. I’ve ridden in a couple - they aren’t luxurious.
I see this as a pattern of idiotic behaviour. I personally would never buy a Tesla because of their quality issues and reliance on screens for everything, but Musk's childishness only make me less likely to ever consider one.
That's great for getting the tech bros on board. Not so much for mass market success.
But the adults in the room tend to think it's foolish.
Relatable or douchey and sophomoric?
Will they finally hire a Dank Memelord to be their head of PR?
