was thinking the same thing.. as a matter of fact my first thought was how they kinda look like a Camry.

I’m looking at the main photos, and...well, one is a CT4V and one is a CT5-V; I honestly don’t know which is which, as I am not up on the naming nomenclature.

I agree.  I do love me some Cadillac, and seriously considered an ATS several years ago.  These photos, however... :(  Remove the branding and you have a believable Kia mid-run facelift.  Sure, the tech and the interiors may be rad, but the exterior aesthetics aren’t doing it for me the way they used to.

My thoughts exactly, maybe pictures don’t do them justice.  They just look like another cadillac sedan.  Not bad looking, but i wouldn’t look twice at them.

Yeah, I’m not seeing what the writer is seeing. These somehow look worse than the originals models. The aero bits look tacked on, and the new fascias don’t flow with the rest of the design. The render that was circulating a while ago looks much better.

Normal-ass sedans... You could put any badge there and I would have believed whatever it is.

Gorgeous looks? Pushing the envelope of design? These just look like normal-ass Cadillacs as far as I’m concerned. I would not bat an eye if I saw one on the highway.

Given they have kits for the current Wrangler and Gladiator on their website, it’s disingenuous to say they don’t offer Jeep upgrades just because they don’t deal with your specific engine.

They’re consolidating mid and upper level management and sales to the Comp Cams headquarters in Memphis.

Are you missing a /s tag? Have you looked at their catalog? Last time I looked they had superchargers for the ScionToyoBurum, Miata and Jeep JK/JL’s so, wtf?

Do you think their product lines have remained unchanged since the 50's?

Fixed costs vs. per-unit costs is fundamental to fguring out high volume consumer electronics business models.

This is exactly what I’m saying. They are sacrificing physical controls and optimal UX for the sake of optimal manufacturing; the fewer pieces in the puzzle the better. I don’t think this is a good thing, at least not for the end consumer (though certainly Elon’s wallet)

Most aircraft still have physical controls in this era of touchscreens (even with MFDs) because it’s easier to understand switch positions by feel/touch alone, leaving you free to focus your sight on the outside picture.

How many physical features need to be removed (touchscreen controls, instrument gauge, air vent knobs, steering wheel adjustment, side mirror adjustment, etc) before Tesla nerds accept the fact it’s all in the name of cheaper/faster/easier manufacturing; not in the name of whatever future Elon is peddling.

I feel like Elon is trying to make a car for people who hate every aspect of driving a car.

I don’t know what everyone is talking about here. I can’t count the number of times that I leave Trader Joe’s and after I put my groceries in my Tesla and after I look through the windshield to see the the curb and the nicely landscaped bushes in front of my Tesla thought “Shit, do I put the car in reverse or drive

They can’t do a consistent panel gap, but they can predict whether you want to go forward, backward or park. Got it.

Also, gambling should be illegal at the federal level.

what amazes me more than a bunch of reddit users playing with the stock market is the fact that short selling is even legal period. it’s one of the most abused stock market systems and the fact that they’re getting smacked by the internet and have had more of an impact than the occupy wall street movement just proves
