Your reading comprehension is poor as the word “autonomous” isn’t mentioned in this blog post once and doesn’t appear anywhere until you first said it.

Did Clinton pardon war criminals who shot at civilians with grenade launchers?

For the sake of not shaking the hornet’s nest, we’re going to just focus on the car-related sections of your post...

Agreed. Rule out the brand because the cars look like bars of soap, totally devoid from any character. Or the interiors that are designed to be as bland as possible. Or the terrible build quality. Or the screens that shut down at random. Or the ability of the company to rescind features you paid for. Or the shitheel

That’s a shockingly stupid take, but you must know that already since you posted it through what is clearly a burner account with 6 whole posts ever.

I was just thinking of writing a comment about how Musk fans and Trump fans seem cut from the same weird cloth. Same cult of personality, anything is excusable, facts don’t matter approach. Just centered around rather different things, but disconnected from reality in similar ways.

“bro if you don’t want to be inconvenienced by an unexpected total system reboot, then just go buy a legacy car.”

Motherfucker, PLEASE. The book isn’t anti-autonomous cars at all. I fucking WISH writing anti-Tesla articles made one tiny bit of difference on book sales. It doesn’t. And I’m not anti-Tesla. But if this is your reaction to this story, perhaps you should seek out your clergyperson or a trusted relative. Maybe a

I know this article isn’t about Haas, but the more I hear and learn about his son, the more I can’t help but feel nothing good is going to come from Haas signing Mazpin. WTH is up with rich American guys getting owned by Russian Oligarchs? Have you no balls or self respect? ...Sorry Gene, but I’ve lost whatever respect

ebikers have found new and novel ways of pissing people off.

Tell me about these “Fringier ideas” from the left. My best friend is from the UK and according to him the right wing of the UK government is at this point more liberal than the Democrats here. Its just that the GOP has gone so insanely far to the right that anything other than full batshit dumbfuckery is considered

Yeah.... his complete and total mishandling of a pandemic has “only” wound up killing 200,000+ people so far....

Ah shut the fuck up dude. I am so tired of having these stupid fucking discussions with brainwashed idiots.

Ford Uninterested in Compromising Usability for Industry Segment that Demands It.

You realize electricity is still fuel, right?

Yeah, I think Erik is missing out on the fact that Ford is new to the EV tech and wants to work it through much like the roll-out of the Ecoboost engine. F-150, Silverado 1500 guys are at the bottom of the truck culture totem pole. The super and heavy duty truck guys bath in gas and diesel. It’s a steeper hill to

1St: It’s good for Ford that Ford recognizes the limitations of EVs and the market segments they build trucks/cars in.

I think Mazda already filed a patent relating to a small rotary range extender a year or two back. Last I heard there were 15 or so people still dedicated to rotary engine development.

Time for Ford to rekindle the bromance with Mazda and cram a rotary back there. It’s the perfect application for a rotary. You want something small, rotaries are very small. Rotaries are way inefficient outside of a small RPM window, but as a range extender it would always be in the sweet spot.

“Profit”. Tesla’s profits are hilariously fake, they amortize very heavily and aren’t even remotely close to being in positive cash flow territory. They didn’t sell $5B worth of their own stock because they’re actually profitable.
