Yeah, I ask, because my Note 4 has what many newer devices have which is the ability to use 2.0 or higher to “fast charge” and that is cool, but it can make the battery and phone hot.

I typically have never removed the phone from the charger because once it’s full, it stops charging, and actually cools down.

I bet Samsung wishes they kept the removable battery thing going... They could have just sent people new batteries. Now they gotta send a whole phone.

The battery isn’t easily replaceable, just like the Note 5.
