Yeah, this is spot-on. I always used to make a birthday cheesecake for a professional cake maker friend because no one would ever dare make them a cake, and they never got to eat cheesecakes. Big hit every year. (or they were being polite!)
Subway started its decline when the got rid of the Vcut. Its all been downhill from there.
Terrible AND a waste of time. Joy.
Fake sanctimony, bigotry and dry overrated garbage.
While I’ll accept that no mice got to your pizza stash, mice could certainly climb a luggage rack to get to food. I’ve pulled into my garage to see mice scurrying up the vertical studs to get to safety.
C’mon now, he’s even gone “so far as to rough out a Google Doc for it”. This man is clearly very engaged! /s

See my new prospectus: “Give me money and I promise I’ll spend it”
“I would do a restaurant if someone else was fronting the money and not expecting me to be there every day,” he says. “I’ll put my name on it and help come up with ideas for the restaurant. I’m not going to be the guy in the kitchen because I don’t have the time or desire.”
*edit*
There is an easy way to protect their mèmbership and make some money at the same time. Treat the membership like a discount card. Anyone can use the food court, but members who swipe their cards get the posted prices, non members pay market rate. Problem solved.
