My Dad has been frying the turkey for years and years. It's no problem if you're not a dumbass.

Don’t knock it til you’ve tried it. Salty, sweet, crunchy.
You're right! There's a toffee layer.
Growing up, my mother insisted on using margarine because “it’s better for you.” Godawful stuff.
Ugh, I have some co-workers with this problem (and worse, one of them is the boss so I can’t even say anything). Keep your nasty-ass hands out of the communal container! You get a bowl or plate and tip the container to pour some out.
The only no-bake “cookie” worth anything is Christmas Crack, which a co-worker makes every year and the office demolishes it in a quick minute. Melt chocolate over saltines, add jimmies/sprinkles, then when it’s set just randomly break it up. Man, that stuff is good.
If you have such disdain for them then don’t use their services. Make your own damn food. Lord, do you hear yourself when you talk, or do you just tune out?
Making your own food is always an option. It’s what I do every single day.
Yet you’ve got all these people saying they don’t want to tip and restaurants should just raise their prices. People don’t want to pay the prices NOW.
The easiest way to go about it probably is reduce portions. While you would go “How would this change anything?”, the visual of completing so many plates can trick the mind into thinking they have had enough, the wait time for refills can also allow their bodies to tell them they are full.
Always hated them (and basically all seafood but especially shellfish and crustaceans). The smell, ugh.
Serving is not a low-skill job. You try it.
OK
Restaurant service in Europe is much poorer than in the US precisely because they don’t have to GAF, they make the same wage regardless.
Most servers in the US would not do the job for a flat wage. They can make way more with tips. And this country enables customers to act like absolute savages and lets them get away with really terrible behavior, so $25 an hour or whatever is NOT going to be enough for what servers put up with.
We’re not in Europe.
That really stinks. The third-party services are so predatory, both to the restaurants and the customers.
Fucking third-party voters is how we got stuck with Trump in the first place. But you know, go on.
No, I do not order delivery. Ever.
Order from someone who delivers with their own people?
