One, they can't all fit on that Dragon, and two, we have no idea when Zuko left the North Pole. You're making a lot of assumptions to better fit the way you wish things had gone.

All of the dialogue this episode implies that they couldn't have made it in time. You wanted them to doesn't make it possible.

There was no way he was going to beat those three. No need to overhype him. Though, I must say I am impressed by how well Tenzin was doing, really that fight didn't seem like it was going anywhere for either of them, and I'm glad someone finally showed Zaheer can't just steamroll everyone.

They very obviously weren't going to kill them and being friendly just comes off as weird (funny to us) but justifiable weird to Mako.

I don't need any of these people to be redeemed. They seem steadfast in their beliefs and they really don't seem too evil all things considered just radical.

Actually, it would be more like asking why right-handed people exist. Most people in the avatar world aren't benders.

How are they more interesting than him?

Anarchy is different from chaos you know. They can coexist but they don't necessarily have to. Not saying I agree with Zaheer, just pointing that out.

You can believe monarchy is outdated without believing in anarchy and the people in the picture look nothing like Ghazan, Mng-Hua, and P'Li. That guy is way too bulky to be Zaheer.

Sand bending isn't a specialized bending form.

Sand bending really isn't that special. Most earthbenders don't have the same problem with sand Toph had, though they're obviously not as good as the one who spend their entire lives in the desert.

Well, they did have that one episode were all their enemies came back from the dead….

More like 172 at this point.

If you're not even watching why are you commenting?

Yes, because using previously introduced characters to fill in wholes in unexpected ways is totally bad writing. Are you a troll? I don't really like asking that, but your post and general tone makes me.

Um, people? Not everyone thinks death is necessary. I'm not even necessarily talking about my feelings on the matter, just stating the obvious.

I didn't think that at all, because it's ridiculous.

I'd think she'd have other things on her mind the very second she wakes up, like, why I'm a strapped to this table.

She hasn't had as much characterization as Appa, he was their main mode he transportation and his involved meant it would be better to give him a personality.

That's a complaint I've never heard before. Most people keep saying the exact opposite.
