Who's to say she even still has the avatar state or it's as powerful as it used to be? She lost her connection to the others remember.

Because kids show.

No, doesn't make sense.

I still don't get why people make Zaofu out to be some sinister individuality killing place. Su called it the most secure city in the world, because everyone seems to think it is.

I know what picture you're talking about, and the resemblance looks only superficial at best.

Um, the military isn't off limits to benders. And at least in the other nations, non-benders most certainly can be in high positions in government, we have been given no reason to think they couldn't be. As for law enforcement, not all police are benders, the metalbending police are a special unit. The equalist

They're not totally different actually, they are both in the fourth state of matter, plasma, they just have different ways of achieving that state.

Eh, it really wouldn't make much sense for Su to be involved. She's the one who came up with the plan to save Korra, she's the one who stopped Zaheer from getting her from Lin.

Azula couldn't control the electricity, Iroh specifically said they couldn't they do that.

It just comes out of nowhere. There wasn't any hint in the old series or this series that non-Avatar earthbenders were capable of bending lava, and the real point of contention, isn't just him controlling already existing lava, but just turning earth into lava.

For awhile there I thought Su would be the mole, but considering how the episode didn't end with that reveal (to us at least, if not the characters).

Roku never mastered the Avatar State. He never had the patience for it, maybed Aang was the same way with metalbending seeing as it wasn't "vital" and all.

I'm open to that, I'm just saying, that once that the ones who don't join the new Air Nation probably won't have any kids who can airbend. If the ones who do join have kids who do or they marry some none airbenders, I could see their kids having airbending. But wouldn't make much sense to have airbenders just popping

Yeah, I'm saying that those who don't join probably won't pass airbending down to any kids they have, but the ones who do almost certainly will. It's all apart of the world rebalancing itself.

I have a feeling once the Air Nation is firmly reestablished, airbending isn't going to occur in people outside of it anymore. If this whole process is about restoring balance, it wouldn't make much sense for new benders to keep popping up outside of a nation if the nation exists again.

They're unimportant.

She wanted to talk about it. She made several attempts to contact her but eventually gave up, that was mentioned more than once.

Suyin doesn't seem very loathsome to, she made an honest turn around in her life, but had trouble understanding why her sister couldn't come and take her word for it.

Well, to be fair, Tenzin say that if they didn't want to be Air Nomads he would help them find a safe place away from Ba Sing Se. He does have connections.

Based on what?
