Good god have mercy on your soul, you’re gonna get brigaded by all the pro-union types. I tried to point out that they’d long served their purpose and it turned into a blood bath.

Even more scary still when you realize it comes naturally to so many people out there.

WRONG!

UAW isn’t a union it is an extortion racket, ask a tier two worker.

I dig what they’re doing, technology wise, but vilifying American union labor while building $70k cars in a tent is enough for me to become disinterested in what they have going on out there.

Have any national car companies started in 21st century America succeeded? I’m no fanboy, but you have to admit that it’s a pretty toxic environment to try to build anything from scratch in the automotive sphere. I tend to marvel that they’ve accomplished anything at all.

I fall into the “I’m really glad Tesla exists, but have no plans to buy one” group.

I’m a huge road racing fan and I’ve tried to watch NASCAR when they go to the road courses. The dirty racing ruins those events to the point that I don’t watch them anymore.

I’m 100% with you. Busch didn’t give him a light love tap, he straight up hit him and pushed him for a brief moment around the corner. It made it somewhat more exciting but it was still bullshit. Honestly reminded me of Dale back in the day. The whole “you tapped me so I’m going to fucking rail you” mentality.

Making the jeep wrangler an unaffordable halo cars and filling the Jeep brand with crappy cars called crossovers will actually water down the jeep brand hurt sales and in the long term not be a good idea

Here’s a plan: why not tax the ‘rich’ at 100% & take everything they have.

The feds could be like CA and drive off the cliff by raising fuel taxes to penalize everyone for consuming less fuel.

Carmax buys from big auction houses just like everyone else. They really don’t have access to a magical higher tier of used cars than any other dealer. Up here in the Northeast, I’ve driven a few Carmax vehicles (mostly Explorers, larger SUV’s) and they all seemed clean on initial inspection, but a harder look

Honestly surprised that Cobb hasn’t combined the functionality of the AccessPort with a Juul or similar vaping device...

I was dumb and only got a pic from the back.

Just replaced my Regal GS with a Ram 1500, and no regrets. Similar fuel economy from regular instead of premium, more room for the family, much more room for cargo, I can load up on home improvement gear without trashing the minivan, and I don’t have to worry about Michigan potholes destroying wheels or suspension.

Hey man. I do work in my sporty/sports car. I got 20 cubic feet of mulch in my 135i.

Modern trucks can get up to 26 - 30 mpg on the highway. Add 4 doors and seating for 6, along with towing and hauling, they can do many things rather efficiently.

Considered the ATS-V used, went with the CTS V-sport as the little extra size actually makes the rear seats useful. ATS was just a little small for the sedan segment, which is what us middle-aged guys with kids seem to stick to? Glad they’re keeping the coupe.

So far this year, the Fusion’s have been dominating and the Toyota’s have had flashes of brilliance. Chevy has had one win, Daytona. They couldn’t even get near the front at Talladega. So there is still disparging race car differences. That being said, I prefer close, pack racing with none of this side draft
