I have no interest in listening to any TS cover but come on! Like any of you really give a shit about Earth Wind and Fire songs. Their stuff was pretty whitebread to begin with.

Either that or got the other way and remove all but the most important safety related restrictions and let the teams get as creative as they can for one race kind of like most All Star events where there is basically no defense and the players can just go as crazy as they want.

Personally, I cannot wait for the September race!

While I’d have preferred they tried some of the X-3 stuff with pulling the right rear fender in to remove side-force, and then pulling the tapered spacers off (its just one race, let’s haul it into turn one at 220 mph), it’s at least worth a shot at this point.

That’s the definition of nice price. Because it sells immediately...?

Your ‘98 was a 346 fwiw

Because LS swaps exist.

Hey, I’d live with a 9 second 0-60 if it meant fewer batteries and a lower cost of entry to get that kind of range.

Saying better range means you might not fully know what you’re talking about. The Bolt’s 238 mile range is indeed ‘better’ than the base Model 3's proported 220 mile range, but there’s one thing that makes the Tesla far better for long-distance drives: the Supercharger.

15 year-old car company has more trouble than a 109 year-old car company? Shocker.

I just looked up the stats. Ford really porked up that TBird SC, didn’t they? Protecting their Mustang sales, much? Anyone strip down an SC with a stock engine? Inquiring minds want to know.

I wouldn’t have called it sluggish around town. It was a manual after all and you get it to do what you wanted if you knew anything about stirring it yourself.

I owned a 96 MTX for awhile and the SHO is really a highway puller. That’s the beauty of the car, it’s sedate around town, but wakes-up when you can get those secondaries open on the highway.

I drove a couple of those back in the day, almost crashed one, almost bought one. I would disagree with you regarding the X11 being faster, the Taurus did need to be revved up though.

I dunno - it sure felt a lot faster than 7.7 sec to 60. One thing I can say for sure is that it would do it’s tested top speed - 140 or so.

It’s a charming car. I believe repairs would be fairly straightforward. It’s not only an LTD LX, which is cool, but the Interceptor, that is nice.

Sorry, but the amount of effort to make the Mustang II halfway decent just wouldn’t be worth it IMO. Personally, if I was going for a mini Mustang, I’d much rather put in the extra effort to get a Mavrick Grabber...

You say "slow car"; I say "momentum car". Part of the fun is finding out how little you have to slow down for a corner.

I don’t think you could call the Mazda6 “slow”. It’s not the fastest, but it’s no dog. All I know is that my current car isn’t that fast (even slower than the 6) but with its solid handling and a 5-speed, it’s way more fun than my previous car, which had 100hp more. Lightness, simplicity, and responsiveness turn every

Don’t get me wrong, I love a fast car, but I live in rural Kentucky rather than on a dragstrip. A good suspension, manual, and a little pep are all it takes to have fun on my commute!
