My computer has 512 shades of red!

Uh, hello, Donkey Kong Jr. Math? That game is almost as notorious as Super Mario Audit.

I never did finish Sonic 2; I was able to beat 1 and get all the Chaos Emeralds, but that flying airship level in 2 always killed my momentum.

Their first two records are both masterpieces in my opinion, and the third and fourth ones have their moments. I've been following Cordes' health problems over the years, and wondered when I would turn on my computer and see this headline. RIP Prince Be.

He did quite a few of those for "Mandatory Fun".

So does this mean every album will be available on vinyl? Everything from Off the Deep End through Straight Outta Lynwood would be hitting vinyl in the US for the first time, and there's a few in there that'd have to be 2xLPs.

I know, right? First it was 'Count Sheep' when I got the LP, then I put 'Natural Diasters' on a mixtape for my now-wife, then 'Carbonation' from the video on the rarities comp, then 'Sold!', and now I think 'Leave It to Rust'.

Yes. (High Society is especially good.)

Jawbox/Lungfish/Brainiac? Shudder to Think/SDRE/Brainiac? God damn son!

The story of NRSK is just one blue-balls scenario after another, but yeah, the roster of Grass bands from 'Buy This Used CD' up through 'Grass of '96' rivalled any other label out there.

Not to mention Yank Crime, Diary, Mars Audiac Quintet, Teenager of the Year, Purple, For Your Own Special Sweetheart, Under the Pink, Dookie, Stoner Witch, Pony Express Record, Vitalogy, Rubberneck, The Crow, Dulcinea, Throwing Copper, Smash, Stranger Than Fiction, Rusty, s/t Tortoise, One Foot in the Grave,

I remember being really shocked when 'Seacaucus' showed up on Pitchfork's original Top 100 Albums of the '90s. It was like, wait, someone else knows who these guys are?

You got that right. The "Buy This Used CD" comp turned me onto so many good bands distributed by Dutch East India.

I remember picking this up and Grass Records labelmate New Radiant Storm King's "August Revital" on the same day over Christmas break in 1994; two more arguments for my favorite year for music ever.

I had the 160GB one, and every time I went over 40GB or so on it, it started to have massive syncing issues. It became unreliable within a year.

You know, we haven't seen Parks and Rec yet…
