We have almost identical specs, it sounds like. Just about everything in your post is how I feel. My biggest frustration was waiting 12 weeks and not being sure if my financing window would run out. I had to order mine because nobody had any in stock when I was looking. Availability is a real problem if you don't have the ability to wait.

I don't mind it. It's not exciting, but it does the job and feels fairly "normal" compared to a regular 5 or 6-speed automatic. The best part about the paddles is "downshifting" to avoid braking the entire first half-mile of my commute to work.

I got the 6 cylinder and am very glad for it. My biggest disappointments have been fit and finish and ergonomics. It’s really not bad, and I’m picking nits to even mention the issues, but I would gladly pay an extra 1-2k for Audi seats and sound isolation.
