My kids squarely in the Mr Beast demo. The guy primarily does over the top stupid stunts for clicks. He’s bright but not very well informed and engages in in philanthropic acts without a real clear understanding of the bigger picture. He holds cruel competitions where people allow themselves to be psychologically

one word: dopamine

He has never and will never make 1 cent off me.  I refuse to click on any video with someone with such a stupid obviously fake smile on their face.

I’m still a bit annoyed that I couldn’t get the cornflower blue GTI with a sunroof so I had to settle with my second choice of white.

Speaking of colour, why is everyone’s profile picture now just a pixelated patch of different colours?

There’s something to be said for complimentary colors too. My Miata is boring white on the outside, but it has the cinnamon brown interior (I forget what Mazda calls it). The door panels that mix white, brown, and black look fantastic.

Roger that. We live in the City and trickle charge using the 120V cordset. The late start time of the statewide off-peak rates don’t make it easy, that’s for sure.

im in the south bay. also just recently bought a bolt. with the 13% rate increases we just got for Jan from PGE, it’s closer to 45mpg now if I charge at home. not the greatest but beats the 21mpg i was getting.

Men in the industry earned an average of $218,700 in 2023

Weird headline. The EV stock bubble burst pretty spectacularly a long time ago. Lucid peaked in November of 2021, and had already lost 90% of its value by December of 2022. Tesla is just too unpredictable to call, since time and time again it’s thwarted any attempts at a successful short strategy and defied logic.

Just like everyone has been claiming for a while, Tesla’s stock should continue to slide. It has always been massively inflated relative to the industries they compete it. However, Tesla seems to be the exception to just about every money rule, so that makes it almost impossible to short and I’m sure it will have

Yet people wait in line to buy a 4Runner which hasn’t has a major redesign in 57 years. Admittedly it is arguably the most reliable vehicle you can buy but talk about overdue for an update...

It’s amazing how Nissan took something with such promise and just destroyed it. It’s probably been a clean 15 years since they had anything remotely interesting in their lineup. Cars like the Q45 weren’t perfect by any means, but they were like the sporty BMW counterpoint to the more Mercedes-like Lexus. Ditto for the

I can pretty much pinpoint the exact moment that killed Infiniti. It was drive by wire or steer by wire in the Q50 in the early 2010s. This was the big thing that was going to sell their sports sedan?

And that’s purely a software problem. It seems like for a fleet buyer as big as Hertz having the pedal behavior re-mapped to mimic an ICE car should be doable.

It sounds like you already have the car you want with the 2018 GTI. Manual, over 200hp, enthusiast approved. But if you must, step it up. Acura Integra Type S

Yeah I mean dude went all out trying to convince the dumb’s it was an actual Ferrari, and it was funny because the Ferrari name badge was on the bumper because it was to big to fit on the trunk. At first I was like ooohhh a Ferra....wait wtf. Sometime I do see a cool car here and there in town. I spotted a Mazda MPV

Social media handles on the window of their cars. Main culprits are Mustang, old WRX, or Lamborghini Huracan drivers. Stop it. We’re not following your lame-ass Instagram.

Boeing management seems to want to do everything on the cheap. They came up with a hacked together new plane and called it a 737 in order to avoid costs associated with certifying a new plane. They outsourced manufacturing to the apparently unscrupulous lowest bidder in a deep red right to work state in order to screw
