How the fresh hell do you say that with a straight face as a country that routinely breaks norms

I totally agree with your sentiment, but you got to remember these guys are probably working in CA and have like $5k/month rent or insane mortgages plus other bills. It can easily take 3-6 months to find a new job, too. I remember that Chargepoint also had layoffs this year, so it’s not like there is a huge demand

1. Pontiac needed to be killed. GM tortured and killed it for a good 20 years, and there was nothing left but some peoples’ fond memories. None of the existing fixes like the G8 or Solstice would have ever brought the brand back to life. Remember, if Pontiac was still around today it would only sell 3 or 4-cylinder

nice writeup

You are correct, but Q50 has drive by wire. I do not agree with designating one ‘full’ and one ‘partial’ based on the failsafe mechanism.

$2M of lidar is literally a drop in the bucket. This has NOTHING to do with using lidars as part of next-gen FSD, or equipping lidars on retail Tesla vehicles for any other reason.

The design of this car has not aged well.

I’d just be slightly suspect of the police saying “Family trail, probably filled with 10x kindergarten classes” when it’s actually some random path out in the woods that is deserted and never used.

good point

Meh... it’s a nice Ferrari, but the only thing interesting about it is the view from a step ladder behind the car.

... chooses its suppliers based on lowest bid

If you like driving, then a good cheap car is always the win. If you like wrenching (or paying mechanics) then maybe the cheap ‘fancy’ car is better?

That guy must have been hauling ass, too, because it looks like a really long site-line to the cop car.  Or do ATVs have crappy brakes?

Assuming this is really a popular FAMILY trail, the ATV rider was 100% wrong. He was going around a corner so fast he couldn’t avoid a car; same thing would have happened to a stroller, biker, toddler walking on their own, or even a leashed dog. I wish the rider hadn’t been injured, but he deserves whatever fine the

My friends also get decent mileage on their Model 3 tires. This just means you’re not flooring it at every stoplight and entrance ramp — you should work on this!

Yeah if they’d offered a ‘bring back empty for $50' I would have taken it. I agree rental EV’s definitely need ultra-reliable charging infrastructure.

damnit I just realized ‘blown engine’ could mean forced induction... I mean DESTROYED engine

This car is worth maybe 10% more than a standard S4 with a blown engine.

I wonder how much Mazda would actually get?

I’d say this is “art” at the same level as the rage-bating crap on TikTok & Instagram — like the couple paying the huge monthly payments on a Tahoe.
