If you’re replacing the hood soon then why bother spending $$$ on it? Just polish the existing hood — IMO the wrap is not going to improve it much.

I wonder if the maintenance cost is mainly tires. (Assuming they mean routine maintenance and not repairs due to accidents, which would come out of someone’s insurance.). I know a guy who managed to roast his Tesla’s tires in 6000 miles due to nonstop lead-footing it. I’d imagine that most renters would act that way,

Yeah, but the Cyberpunk car looks better

I’ve seen some people get that kind of deal, but I’ve also seen those real severance benefits (X weeks of pay, Y weeks of health insurance) diminish greatly since the initial layoffs started happening > 1 year ago.

Yes, this is the truth.  This is just normal income.

Yeah I need to get a camera that supports a 128/256GB microSD and not an 8K 360 camera!

From what I’ve heard, pretty much all FAANG company layoffs in California in the past couple years are: turn in your laptop, all company access blocked, you are still officially an employee for 60 days with pay/benefits, and then you are laid off on the last day. This is what the WARN act forces them to do.

What we really need is BMW to invest in that shooting brake Z4 concept from a year ago!

I’m thinking the next news story will be about Possible Hacked Voting Machines or something similar.

No, the manufacturers are run by shortsighted people who chase quarterly profits. The government didn’t have much at all to do with it.

Based on that image, in another 2 generations there will be nothing left of the distinctive 911 shape.  It’ll be a fully melted jellybean with as much styling cues from the 1996 Ford Taurus as the 1970 911.

My initial reaction: just what the world needs, another jackass trying to go +15mph over the flow of traffic on the Merritt Pkwy on the weekends.

Yeah this is total bullshit. Most likely a *round* mylar balloon, or something similar.

I have no idea what News Nation is, but maybe they are being smart and putting “Possible” in front of every story so they don’t get sued for making up shit like Fox.

I don’t mind minimalist as luxury, but it must be done correctly. Personally, I could care less for the gaudy bling-bling of high end Mercedes interiors: chrome vent rings and Las Vegas lighting do not make a car luxury.

AFAIK the Subaru Eyesight system is the only one (other than Tesla) that relies on cameras only.

What’s the Tesla equivalent of the ‘Camry Dent’, though?

I’m still not convinced Tesla==Douche any more than for a BMW, Mustang, F250, etc.

I wouldn’t be surprised if many different ADAS / automated cruise control systems would miss a motorcyclist. These are never, ever meant to be used in eyes-down fashion.

I don’t believe a law-abiding robotaxi will make the driving experience worse — idiots racing on the highway and giant pickups and SUVs make things actively worse.
