If you’re replacing the hood soon then why bother spending $$$ on it? Just polish the existing hood — IMO the wrap is not going to improve it much.

From what I’ve heard, pretty much all FAANG company layoffs in California in the past couple years are: turn in your laptop, all company access blocked, you are still officially an employee for 60 days with pay/benefits, and then you are laid off on the last day.
