I think I literally had this as a Hot Wheels car as a kid, same color too. I think the Hot Wheels might have added an extra chrome skull or two, but that’s about it.

On the bright side, we got two sites to read per day now.
I’ve never been to Vegas when the LVCC existed, but $53M for a dedicated tunnel from the airport to the convention center seems like a good deal to me, assuming it’s utilized well. They’re paying $40M to just do repaving and improvements to roads for the F1 Circuit around Las Vegas Boulevard — this is an entirely new…
Yeah this whole thing screams Pep-Boys decals and plasti-dipped wheels. Does this impress the average mustang buyer?? Surely not...?
It’ll still be safer than a instagram-watching soccer mom in a Suburban — at least you’ll hear this Mustang coming, and it’ll really only make it about 100 yards before wiping out.
Now this is really an interesting question — does Thomas side with the poor Alabama town that is funding its police dept with unethical asset forfeiture, or does he side with the poor woman. I’m guessing if it came down to it, being poor is pretty damn offensive to Thomas so he’ll fund the police department that’s…
Those numbers from statistica are total crap, apparently, but IMO the correct interpretation of “reasonably charge at home” allows for someone to pay an electrician to install a L2 charger on their property.
Essentially the same price as a base 2023 Ford Maverick. It’s more expensive than a 2023 Chevrolet Trax. I’ll take the Maverick over the 1988 Escort, for sure!
General rule for SF is to never leave something valuable in your car. If it’s visible then there’s a chance it will be stolen at a red light *while* you’re in the car. Hiding it in the trunk doesn’t help if you leave the car b/c thieves will break your window just to search for hidden items.
SF does have a pile of crap to deal with, but if you flew to SF then you were never in the city. The airport is way south of SF — so unless you’re in some bizzaro situation where you arrive in SF via boat then you’ll never have the opportunity to arrive there and ‘drive the hell out of the city’.
My bolt isn’t ugly, your MOM is ugly.
The number of Teslas I see with a cell phone mounted on their dashboard is hilarious. Pasting your cell phone up in your field of view feels early ~2010's, to me — or you’re a gig-economy delivery driver.
Assuming that statistica site is not publishing BS, the actual statistic for the 8000 surveyed Americans is:
I can’t even come up with something sarcastic to say about this...
3rd gear: As many have said before, the Big Three were planning today’s EVs to compete with where Tesla (and others) were in 2019-2020. As usual, they had really poor strategists thinking about where Tesla’s prices would go under real competition, where China’s EV prices are already, or even about competition from…
I’m definitely in the minority of people I know between ages of 7 - 70 who do not use YouTube as one of their primary forms of entertainment, so no surprise it doesn’t appeal to me. I’ll just stick with the forums here at Jalopnik where I can get actual replies from the writers! 😀
