Every car is built with a catalytic converter — how many extra do we need? Have you ever replaced on that failed for some reason?

As long as you’re comparing a sports car with giant sedans, you might as well throw in a Dodge Demon, BMW M-something, Hummer EV, and maybe an Escalade V. Sure the SUVs don’t have quite the same 0-60, but they sure make up for it in passenger + cargo space.
+1 she is insane — if your kids aren’t old enough to be alone at home, alone in the mall, or alone on a city bus, then they damn well better not be alone in an autonomous vehicle that could stop on the side of a highway and tell you to wait for half an hour for a pickup from a new (working) vehicle.

I’d imagine with the current grey color they figured out they could just clear-coat the primer and skip the paint step to save a few bucks.
What’s with Tesla changing their default base-price color? First black, then white, now grey.
In 20 years someone will list one of these “ZP Editions” on an auto auction site with <10k miles for $100K, and people will all give it a No Dice because you can buy the non-special-edition with 50k miles for $17K on a used car site.
You know you’ve got a real friend when, post breakdown, they don’t wrap you up in a tarp and leave you on the side of 880 or I5. Unfortunately the Bay Area has enough people already who do this to themselves...
The article title should be: Americans cannot afford electric trucks in 2023. This has nothing to do with sedan vs. cuv vs. pickup.
I’m impressed by the numbers, but I’m not so impressed by the appearance. For a supercar, it looks fine. In the photo above, I could easily be convinced that it was a Lotus, McLaren, Acura, or a next-gen Ford GT40. I’d be double-taking this car to figure out what *brand* it was, not because it was a Ferrari.
It’s true -- you got to have enough room for the toddler to throw all those juice boxes on the floor. When the car fills up, it’s time to lease a new one.
No doubt they’ll have a Genesis version of this for +$20K to compete in the $100K luxury EV-SUV club.
You have qualified for the Jalop Dad Medal. 👍
But what if I need to bring home a case of toilet paper from Costco or like Home Depot / Yard Work something...? How’s *that* going to fit unless I got my F250 powerstroke!?
I’d be excited to be picked up by one of these when I hailed Uber Black. I’d be really disappointed to get up every day and have to drive one of these on my daily commute.
I’ve heard of Google, but why use google when you can still use Lycos?
FWIW radar weighs ~100-200 grams.
What luxury stuff? They’re just upgrading the ND2's ~8 yr old tech with whatever the basic off-the-shelf stuff is from their other lineup.
