Pretty sure this is 100% not true. They have sensors in the pavement usually. The ‘sensitivity’ of how fast the light changes is probably fully programmed at the box on the side of the road — it’s not a matter of a better sensor knowing you’re there, just the timers / programming in the box.
For that matter, they should just make all red lights just flash red all the time so you never have to wait?
Who cares what the people think? The automotive corporations will tell you what you want when/if they figure out that they can make more money by monthly payments for an AV vs. an owned car.
I think we are a decade or less than better than a drunk uncle self-driving cars.
Here they seem to give Wagoneer the same status as Alpha, Dodge, Jeep, etc, but I understand they won’t be creating dedicated Wagoneer dealers (lol)
Yeah it seems like there was a *major* failure in long term planning at Stellantis. They even added a brand recently (I didn’t realize that Wagoneer is a *brand* not a Jeep)
Wow I commented too soon above — that’s crazy. I know a couple people who bought these luxury trucks at work. I wonder the Rivian will end up being like a Fisker Karma to maintain... or maybe Tesla will buy them and use it to actually compete in the pickup truck space!
Yeah this was my question — are they literally losing money on manufacturing and raw materials or is this just an issue of:
While the EX30 is a Chinese-made CUV, the Zeekr X has a wheelbase of 2750mm. The EX30 is 100mm (4 inches) smaller than the Zeekr, so it’s not simply rebadged. Maybe they have multiple versions of the same platform?
It’s a joke, note the Infinity EX35 CUV above. It was also a near-luxury CUV with a base price in the mid-$30K range, although it is not a compact vehicle like the Volvo.
Glad I cleared that up for you, bro.
If he was in Texas, he’d be the one driving the F350.
No, it’s actually 91%, I just looked it up on AltaVista.
195CID = 3.2L. That is one huge 4-cylinder engine, and without balance shafts this thing must have been really rough...
Exactly — being out of order turns this into click bait. Most people do not read to the end of the title, the just see “Cruise Taxi Runs Over...” and it goes from there. Then the first paragraph is basically calling out how bad Cruise is performing, so it’s definitely got a very ‘editorial’ feel rather than a…
