Yeah everything Chevy tends to get infected, at least a little, with the Silverado Pestilence.

It’s interesting to point out here that the actual hourly pay of the average UAW worker is $28/hour. Sure there are great benefits, but it’s still $28/hour.

I think MB and BMW follow the German tradition of making things complicated just for the sake of being complicated.  I guess some people get a ‘reward’ type feeling when the figure out how to use a complex UI??

+1 to Lexus. I haven’t used it since pre-Carplay (maybe ~2016?) when I test drove an RC-F.  The entertainment UI was just absolute crap.

I’d love to bike to work, mainly for exercise. I cannot for a couple reasons:

also known as a “Blazer EV with Carplay”

1. With MS, I expect that a lower sedan (i.e. GTI, Integra, etc) are off the list. It is easier to sit ‘across’ into a higher seat level of a CUV than to lower / raise your butt out of a lower sedan.

Can I nominate an interior? The past few years of the Mercedes Benz S-Class have combined the style of a 1991 Trapper Keeper, the Best Buy TV department, and a touch of the Las Vegas Strip.

Well, you’re insulting a perfectly good fruit, but I do like the alliteration.

Trump would’ve been trying to keep horses around to protect horseshit-picker-upper jobs that paid 3 cents/day.

I’m just shocked it’s not a monthly subscription.

👍

It’s got 63% of the horsepower of the V12 they would have put into this car had they been able to afford to develop one for such a low volume vehicle.

Yeah I always get annoyed with “rate of speed” it’s certainly people (police) trying to add more ‘technobabble’ words to make themselves sound more official.

don’t worry, g_k is probably an airline shill

For some reason this company charges more for LED — maybe simply because they’re more desirable.

I haven’t been in a 2023 Corolla, but I fit in a 2005 Corolla just fine and I’m 6ft+... ?

Take the technology introduced to luxury CUV’s 18-years ago by the Lexus RX400h, double the 2023 price, add a porsche logo, and you get a great wealthy soccer-mom-mobile.

Next time read the article.  He tells you the reflectors in the housings are not designed for LEDs, and it’s more $$$.

Damnit if they’d just called them “External AR-15 Racks” they would have passed for sure, and truckers would be prepared to arm a small town for Zombie / Canadian / etc. invasions.
