Why would this guy ever try to defend the parking gate or take the axe??? Just walk out and say, “Yeah I agree this thing fucking sucks and I hate my job but I gotta work. Hey lets put that axe down before the police freak out. Maybe just leave it in the grass and drive off and they won’t even know...”

Makes sense that it’s the government — seems like the ~175M people in China who make less than ¥100K/year could make use of cars like these if they were available for ¥5-10k, even if they had to pull apart 3 cars to make 1 working car.

+1 love the color

18-wheeler trucks do *so* much more damage than cars. Damage from cars that weigh 4k, 6k, etc are meaningless compared to 10k, 20k weights:

Infiniti really wants to go back to about 2008 before they destroyed their reputation. I’m confident that Nissan can build a competitive product again, but it’s going to be a huge mountain to climb to get their reputation back into the Volvo/Acura class again.  Hopefully Infiniti dealers are still nice places, which

It would be pretty trivial to build these so that it took more effort that it was worth to open for a casual pizza or sandwich thief. I assume they cheaped-out on the design and you can just pop the lid with a screwdriver, or something.

I didn’t think old people liked camaros b/c it’s too difficult to get in & out.

An operable car with 50-75 miles of range would be worth saving — you could certainly sell a car like that for $1000 in the US unless it had other significant issues. For example, I cannot find a Mitsubishi iMiEV for sale *under* $5000 and many Smart fourtwo EV’s are still over $10k.

I was just coming to say this. I started looking at RC F’s and then noticed he can almost afford an LC! The only old IS F’s I can find are like $20K with 200K miles. I’d prefer to get a 1-year old new-generation IS-F for $60K.

So what you’re telling me is that the author’s “nipple height” is 36"? 😀

the bed ... on the ZR2 it is very tall – and there’s no real way to get in without looking goofy. There’s no step to be found anywhere, and when the tailgate is down, it’s still pretty much at nipple height.

Also it looks better in the lower trims without the black roof, but that damn chrome hearse trim line is still there:

The Chevy is better, but also has some awkwardness in the same place:

This looks like a: “We took the top half of a $100M yacht and sliced off the hull”.  Hopefully the construction quality is better than an RV or a mobile home!

They also basically don’t build manual transmissions on Bronco’s anymore... not sure if it’s b/c the original MT was very unreliable, or just because it was much easier to push people into more expensive models.

Southpark predicted this in the 1990's but with hunting animals rather than shooting people with dark skin...

It’s total BS related to the SPAC IPO (who would every buy a SPAC IPO today after their absolutely terrible performance when money was actually cheap in 2020-2021??)

That car is in amazing condition for falling/rolling 400 vertical feet. Passenger compartment looks great. I see the driver and her dog got ejected during the rolling — seems like that’s at least a 50/50 chance of being crushed.  I wonder if they would have faired better if they had stayed inside -- or do seatbelts

Put alleys behind the houses and garages on the alleys.

1. I agree they are ugly, but in neighborhoods with small lot sizes they are the most utilitarian way to get the necessary 2x garage spaces for a suburban American family. I bet these garages still won’t fit many full sized pickups
