Yeah I *never* use the rear view mirror / camera on my Bolt for this reason.  It’s just slightly uncomfortable and I much prefer the actual mirror when driving / merging.  If it was just for backing up, then I’d be OK with it.

Good point: how does ‘no rear window’ work with the laws (usually related to window tinting) that require a certain amount of visibility *into* the car for things like police safety.

That’s the problem with basing this on the EQS — it’s the most bland / generic shape ever. From the rear 3/4 view, you could absolutely convince me this was a rando-chinese commuter minivan.

Yeah this car doesn’t look *bad* but to me, it screams out, “low poly count background vehicle from 2005 video game“.  The white version is especially generic.

If this was a truely pristine like-new camaro with 50k miles, then it might have been worth like $25K based on my 8 seconds of research. Subtract the parts / labor cost of taking off all this guys mods and I suspect the final price will be a good bit below $18K. No sane person wants your project car, dude, although…
