It’s a lot easier (and cheaper) to add a more powerful motor and suck the charge out of the battery faster. To add range, the only option is to make the battery bigger. This is expensive and heavy.
I was recently on a coast-to-coast flight that landed in the middle due to a medical emergency and got a $50 credit. We arrived about 2 hours late. I was surprised they offered anything...
At what point does an automotive designer look at his work and realize (s)he’s failed? Perhaps when not a single distinctive detail from a highly publicized design makes it to production?
Historically impressive, but big and heavy EV vehicles that do 0-60 in ~2.0 seconds aren’t *that* impressive anymore.
You fly to better places than I do! I keep going coast-to-coast (SFO / BOS)
It’s crazy, but I actually know people who choose to live in Manhattan *and* hate public transit. 🤯
Seriously? I’ve been on at least 8 flights since May and they were all 100% fine except for one medical emergency that forced us to land early. (Luckily the person was still OK enough to stand and get to the wheelchair with paramedic assistance.)
With the number of EV’s available under $50K, I do not think it is wise for the government to be shelling out $7500 tax breaks to people who *can* afford these luxury vehicles.
There is 0 chance this will make it to orbit. I bet they don’t even have the budget to do a proper graphical rendering of this on a computer.
Is there *any reason* why this brand would exist except for Back to the Future?
The problem with Infinity is that it feels like they have barely updated anything in their lineup since they switched from the Gxx to the Qxx names about 8 years ago.
I can understand that argument 100%, and it probably applies even more to the rare family-owned farm. I understand the argument for Prop13 for a primary residence, and I’ll fully admit there is no way to undo Prop13 for these people who already benefit from it for their home.
Yeah it’s not always possible to ‘recover’ from a brain injury. The brain might be able to work its way around an injury, but I think science says that brain injuries are cumulative -- even ‘simple’ ones like a concussion from playing HS football.
New York’s curbs are useless at stopping cars from riding up on them.
With likely half or more Z’s being sold for $50K, I don’t think it’ll push the 86 prices down *at all*.
I really hope this is true, but it just doesn’t seem like it would happen. I’m sure in my California neighborhood (that seems to be 50% boomers), the kids will inherit their parents stupidly-low property tax and either move in or convert to rental.
I’m shocked: the sub $40K model that got promoted everywhere no longer exists. I wonder how many of the “pro” models actually got built... 200? 1000?
I’ve been using these since 2017 on my XC90, and haven’t replaced them yet.
