(assume you’re talking about the volvo I mentioned)

This is interesting because the Ryzen is certainly built on a more efficient CMOS process, and is *way* more powerful than the Intel Atom 3950 that was apparently in the previous generation computer.

This *really* depends on the car. Here’s a few examples

Lots of reviews have been published, main drawback is the range. I’ve read in places that it shares a lot of the drivetrain with the BMW i3, but I don’t know if that’s 100% true. It would make sense, however, since they have similar performance and come from the same manufacturer.

A gas powered luxury sedan, perhaps a MB E-class, could also be on it’s 3rd engine + transmision at this mileage, which probably also cost ~$20K to replace.

Why did they stop at 2?

Hey as long as we can come up with enough stupid and sarcastic comments to keep people laughing, that’s enough to keep me entertained for 30 seconds!

These people are just living a perfectly acceptable “commune” lifestyle. I’m sure they don’t believe in the validity of privately owned property**! It’s their choice and you shouldn’t criticize it!

(another) Translation: this looked like a great idea until Ford and Chevy demo’ed trucks that will beat ours in every category except boxiness.

We’re missing on this Honda, but luckily the Mini Cooper SE almost perfectly fills the gap: 2 door, sub $30K after incentives (cheaper than the price Honda published about a year ago), low-ish range EV, fun to drive.

1. In the Veloster’s defense, I think you have to manually enable the Sport+ exhaust mode to get it to make these gunshot noises. So it’s 100% the douche driver’s fault if you hear this.

On one hand, I 100% agree this is a great opportunity for a high schooler to learn and drive something cool. As a parent, however, I would never let a beginner daily-drive a car this unsafe.

Did anyone say GTI yet? Isn’t that the *obvious* answer? Miata is the answer, with GTI as the 2nd runner up.

I hadn’t read about this until ~2 years ago, but I found it fascinating that the “Daughters of the Confederacy” led a decades-long, extremely effective PR & propaganda campaign to ‘whitewash’ the civil war.

Sometime I should see what a USB stick looks like on my car’s infotainment UI.  My last car (e-Golf) had an SD card slot *and* a CD player in the glove box that I touched exactly once. :)

Green is an awesome color for a car, and we need more cars like this!

Feel sorry for that guy having such a nasty grandmother. To me, it is such a paradox how a grandmother could love(?) a grandson but harbor so much hatred and bias towards his skin color.

Stop it, you’re giving me flashbacks to watching the Matrix Resurrections on HBO Max a couple weeks ago. That was truly the Pontic Aztek of movies. Hold on, that’s an insult to the Pontiac...

I understand where you’re coming from.  My solution to this problem is basically not to use the radio anymore -- I listen to podcasts or music from my phone.  I probably miss out on some music this way, but I also get to miss the commercials, too.

Creature comfort: CarPlay (I’m sure Android Auto is fine, too.)
