It’s totally unrealistic to get 5G chips into tattoo ink. The pigment molecules get stuck in the 5G micro antennas and can completely invert the subliminal messages written in the chemtrails.

yeah I was having trouble coming up with what “socialism” is for auto companies. I should have just used a Soviet-era company as an example: SMZ cars were distributed in the USSR for free or purchased at a large discount through the Soviet Union’s social welfare system.”

Cyclists I’m around typically go through red lights / stop signs without slowing down unless they have a very high chance of being struck (i.e. heavy traffic). The only cyclists I see obeying laws like this are kids riding to school around my neighborhood.

Yes.

How is this socialism? Is the ZF 8-speed socialism, or maybe the Ford-GM 10-speed? Companies make partnerships to improve profits for their shareholders: capitalism at its best.

I wonder if that AMG engine is really that much more impressive (or reliable) than a “Stage 3" EA888 from a GTI that is tuned to make similar power? What I’m getting at is that you can pretty easily get 380hp from a 2.0T that starts in a $27K car without major engine work / redesign.

I agree: the auto industry already does this with automatic transmissions, why not a 2.0T as well?  You also can include BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Volvo, and Nissan on the list for this engine. I’m sure there are others.

I’d say 6 years at least, with the Budd-e concept

I want to see a manual EV with a 1-speed transmission :)

I think I got closer to 10mpg, though it’s been a long time. It was a Ford V10.

I’m surprised that MT’s have held on so long for larger vehicles. I can imagine that cars with high-volume worldwide distribution (i.e. Toyota Corolla and smaller) have MT’s due to cost savings, but it seems like most larger / more expensive stuff would be AT only due to the added cost of developing an MT version of

Absolutely!  I drove a 18-foot uhaul towing a car on a 2-wheel trailer with no special license for about 1000 miles. At that point I realized I should stay a long, long way from anyone driving rental truck.

In the Bay Area, it is easy to pay $2000/sqft for a home in *very average* looking neighborhoods. Not sure that ‘we’re rich here’ will apply by default for this guy. I’m sure he’s very comfortable, though, since he decided to move to this area and almost certainly did his homework before making the decision.

More importantly, is this guy *actually* going to live in SF or in one of the communities to the south, say between Los Gatos and Redwood City?

What’s interesting is they do make some of the best *sensors* in the world, but they do not make the entire sensor system. For example they make great camera sensors (like the ones in just about every iphone/android phone) but they do not make the full camera. They probably had to go to Denso, Bosch, or someone else

He looks like he’s at the dentist office with the chair half way between the upright position and the exam position.

Steve Bannon just started a charity* to fund a giant Kazakhstan-sized “Thanks Joe” sticker to put on the country. All Steve supporters can log in and donate today!

Yeah it feels like GM is 5 years late to the Expensive EV Status Symbol party. Maybe they’ll pull it off with the center-USA big truck crowd versus Tesla with the costal-crowd?

If it was a BMW, the grille would start at the hood scoop and run all the way down to the yellow plastic splitter guards (which are missing here?!?) like some kind of giant 2-cheeked butt print on the center of the car.

I’m betting this is basically a Magna prototype design with some Sony input on the look / feel parts. This in no way prepares Sony to build cars, but they could definitely start selling a Sony-branded Magna car. It won’t be cheap, though. Magna’s vehicles are usually on the luxury or near-luxury end of the market.
