I’m not trying to be a downer here, but don’t wait too long! Once you get toward retirement you might decide that it’s just too much trouble getting ‘down’ into a car this low.

I’m looking forward to the Crystal Sphere future in cars. Literally every switch and knob will be replaced by one kid’s bowling-ball sized crystal sphere in the center console!
I had a 1998 Buick Lesabre (white with dark blue cloth interior) that I drove as a student for a while. It had the *best* seats in just about any car I’ve ever been in, especially in the back.
This is a supremely stuipid waste of money on Lincoln’s part:
On the Bolt battery:
Wow you almost taught him a lesson!
I’m not so sure I’m a huge fan of Sloan, either:
I don’t get the $50K price either since it’s solidly in lux / near-lux territory. I’m also now sure how the sticker got that high, since Ford lists the MSRP of the “First Edition” at $38k. The “First Edition” includes every option by default unless you start getting tents and other odd stuff...
A new two-door gas-powered car is ...
Yeah the Mouse is expensive and ultra-commercial. I sure wouldn’t want to go there very often. He should go do something else, then: just don’t skip the family’s fun to feed the dad’s selfishness. (Kids running around in the yard is not equivalent to a whole-family vacation.)
Do you have to buy a new booster seat every year?
It’s a bit of a ‘reductio ad absurdum’ with my intent to demonstrate that people have different priorities when buying cars.
The Lamborghini Huracan can only go 300 mi on a tank of gas, so I guess that makes the Kia Rio better, right?
That guy is a idiot, an asshole, and has no taste:
and stickers that let you roll solo in California’s elite HOV lanes since you’re an electric driver.
EV’s are special if you live in a place ruled by CARB. Check out these lease rates:
People are neglecting to mention insurance cost for these EV’s. I bet a 16 yr old driving a $200/month leased Kia Niro will also be paying at least $200/month in insurance.
If this car gets over $60K then it stands a chance of getting a ton of press in about 2040 by the latest Jalop writers.
Yeah I feel the same way this morning. I got two adult friends in NYC who just told me they switched from *almost* getting the COVID vaccine (they had an appointment!) to deciding against it. They’ve been convinced by some utter bullshit conspiracy video, and I really don’t know how to get through to them.
These…
I drove thru Atlanta on I285 bunches of times, and while it was like a high-speed racetrack, I didn’t think it was too dangerous vs. the Virginia side of DC and generally the Boston area.
