Due to the condition of the paint in the engine bay and trunk, it seems like this must have been substantially disassembled and resprayed, right?
Keeping a luxury car for 20 years is the standard procedure for Upper Middle-Class Grandmother. I do pity the grandmother who, hypothetically, kept bringing 90's S class in for maintenance for 20 yrs. Hopefully it was an MB enthusiast instead.
Fully schizophrenic people can be religious, too, huh?
She was asking for a miracle...
After attempting to murder her kid, the state should probably take the kid too...
$10,000/($100/month) = 100 months = 8.3 years.
Easy solution: fine the driver for the price of the vehicle retrieval and emergency responders. I’m sure they can setup a payment plan that’ll last for the next 20 years.
No…. We don’t pay our engineers shit, so they all left to google, apple, facebook, etc…
I personally feel it’s a deeply stupid design, ill-suited for actual, real-world truck use
“GOOD SILVER”?!? The last good silver came out in about 1999 when silver was still somewhat unique. Buying a silver 911 today means you are either extremely boring or hate life. :)
Got to love how manufacturers try to market-segment (almost) premium cars...
I have enough cord length to charge outside, but my ‘driveway’ is tiny and the car is within a 6 feet of both me and my neighbors houses’ front doors. I’d love to wake up at 3am with a giant torch about to ignite right beside the primary exit of two houses, both with children.
Where exactly are they going to get rental cars in today’s ridiculous market?
Looks like those 19" Pretoria wheels have 35mm profile rubber. That’s just too damn small. My wife’s Volvo has 22" wheels with 35mm rubber — those have cost more than ~$1000/year for additional maintenance so far, including replacing one wheel and 4x tires long before the tread is worn out.
It’s all about the performance. I, personally, don’t care much about the logo on the hood. Remember the current Audi S3 starts at $44,900. I’d much prefer the Golf R *hatchback* over an S3 sedan.
Unless we get tons of free electricity, a huge desalinization plant on the Pacific, and a massive pipeline, there is no hope at establishing a wetlands here again. It’s a desert, along with most of California, and we do not have water to dump there for aesthetic reasons or even to preserve a bird population.
2 out of 3 is ok. As long as you’re planning lawnmower+group sex then you’ll be fine.
When I check one of the online car search engines, it only shows 25 Veloster N’s in the entire country. Are they just canceling the entire vehicle?
Thanks for the reply. I’m going to read that article and see about emailing or calling GM. My car is parked in a garage right under a bedroom, which is not a great place for a fire to happen at night...
