Because its good frorm

Well this is going to get fun.

Pictured, the top people at Uber...

Because most people don’t give a shit. And I understand why. Cars are expensive, their reliability is always overrated, and for the most part they should just be treated as tools that you throw away when they’re used up. Now, this goes against the Jalop mindset, but I believe these cars have a place. Like the minivan,

Six -gears for me. 6th gear makes 80-mph highway cruising a non-taxing affair.

Who needs two cruising gears?

Translation: “The kids who want these cars can’t afford them, so we can’t justify development costs of adding another option. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go work on the automatic for the new Supra.”

That’s what I’ m counting on. Factor in the fact that the XF itself and the platform it rides on are old as hell(its still riding on the DEW 98 platform shared with the Lincoln LS, the S197 Mustang and Ford Thunderbird), and I wouldn’t buy one new. I foresee these being 35-45k in late ‘19 to earl ‘20.

That green is worth the price of admission.

It’s not from Europe, but they did sell them there. You want style, class, and performance from a 90's coupe? Also a decent interior? FD RX7 is the car for you. Here is an unmolested example:

Russia flies planes off the coast of California all the time, Russian troll. US forces intercept Russian planes regularly, in a much more professional manner than the Russians seem capable of...

Those nondescript Lexus 4 doors exemplify dull - but with a hideous grille to spice it up. :p

25% import tariff and force any manufacturer based in China into a joint partnership with an American based auto manufacturer.

Or... they’re not boring at all but just wish to spend their money on other things (airline tickets, musical instruments, date nights with the spouse) rather than repairing or replacing their vehicles every few years.

FTFY

So Russian nukes situated 90 miles off the coast of the Continental US wasn’t as bad? Gonna call bullshit on that one...

“A Chevrolet Volt, while clearly not a performance-oriented car like this is supposed to be, can muster well over twice that at 38 battery-only miles.”
