I think we need new names for people who prefer they/them. I definitely understand the “why”, but find it confusing for normal use, especially in a written article. “It” borders on cruel to my ears.  I think finding a short, easily remembered and identifiable set of pronouns would be beneficial.

just play it safe and call everyone sport

The retailer named in the article you didn’t read. That’s “who”.

The retailer that this whole article is about?

All those queues do, is prevent their systems from getting overloaded. It does nothing to stop scalpers.

Who came up with these doll descriptions because they read like something spit out be a crappy translation app.

Every single car does this automatically. It’s how defroster settings work.

It’s not about being old. It’s new and it’s confusing and people need to cut everyone some slack. Sometimes you’re not “deadnaming” or being disrespectful by automatically knowing each and every person’s preferred gender pronouns. Sometimes it’s just fucking confusing and people make mistakes.

She was very known! That threw me too. I know this is just a throwaway post, but slagging the pre-Glee careers of Jane Lynch and Matthew Morrison when that information is just a google away is some pretty lazy ish.

Her career is certainly much larger post-Glee, but she’d done a metric tonne of work before that I have to assume she was at least a “oh, hey, it’s that lady” for most people by the mid-2000s.

Off topic:

He’s also starring in the latest abomination remake of The Grinch. Do not google the photos or you’ll die in 7 days, probably.

They are literally the most educated people in their communities. They are unquestionably the intelligentsia there.

Maybe I have a bad attitude, but I have to say that the small town in Alabama where I grew up - and the Deep South as a whole - is absolutely swarming with people who are too ignorant to realize (insert what they’re too ignorant to realize.)
