Big companies having a “code of ethnics” explains so much. 

It would be an interesting exercise to see what each individual did with the information. Did any of it end up with the lawyers of the accused or with organizations that support George Floyd’s family? Did people just look and gossip with their friends? Did it get to the press? 

Why does biological sex apply to this situation? Rebecca is, for all we know, AFAB. They played 17 games in the league in 2018 and a bunch in other women’s teams in Europe. Nothing has been said about medical changes which would cause concers. Rebecca may not make a single change other than declaring themselves as

Rebecca was eligible to play in the NWSL before they made this announcement. Why should this, absent any medical changes, make them ineligible?

It’s always going to be tough to draw a line that 100% fair for either party. Michael Phelps is a genetic marvel, but he competes in the “open” division. Semanya may also be a genetic marvel, but competes in the “restricted” division. Some women are always going to see someone who falls outside the norms as unfair.

Don’t they know you need to be more subtle than that?
