Would I be correct in assuming that the ID needed for an American passport would be similar to, say, voting? So ignoring the $200, the cost/time to get the ID you need for a passport would also be prohibitive?

I’ve known people who were the same age as their aunt/uncle or neice/nephew. By the time we are talking about 3rd cousin 2x removed, it’s not even that odd to be about the same age. On the other hand, it would be that odd to be 100 years apart, either.
