They should stick to what they know best on the field.
They should stick to what they know best on the field.
Virginia Tech was undefeated when they beat OSU. So I guess they were a good team and it's not a bad loss then.
Even better than Welker's foot-themed press conference from a few years ago.
Well, they won their conference, for starters.
By what possible metric can you conclude TCU played a stronger schedule than OSU? Can't be number of top 25 teams, or number of +.500 teams, or bowl eligible teams or number of FCS teams, so what is it?
Worst loss only matters if the wins are equal. As I wrote to someone else, both teams beat Minnesota, and you could arguably say Michigan State and KState are equal (you'd be wrong, but you wouldn't be completely insane to say it). So when OSU takes a top 20 team to the woodshed on a neutral field and TCU has no…
Of course. The point is the only way TCU is even in the conversation is if you disregard the fact that they lost to Baylor; otherwise, it's a simple two horse race with OSU and Baylor. But once you start disregarding losses and are focusing only on wins, TCU's resume doesn't hold up.
OSU beat Michigan State (top 10), Wisconsin (top 20), and Minnesota (top 25). TCU beat K State (top 15) and Minnesota. So Minnesota is a wash, and you could charitably wash MSU and KState. That still leaves OSU with a 59 point shutout of a top 20 team on a neutral field that TCU has no answer for.
Right. Poor lil' ol' TCU got robbed. It couldn't possibly be that they're the least deserving of the three one loss teams vying for the last spot.
Yep. OSU has better wins against a tougher schedule. The only way TCU is even part of the conversation is by disregarding their one loss. And if you applied that same logic all around, OSU is the best of the three without question.
You're right, it's an obvious conspiracy. It couldn't possibly be that TCU just isn't deserving of a spot.
When you shouldn't have been as high a 3 in the first place. And beating Iowa State by 50 isn't impressive, it's expected.
Tough to argue with these. Baylor and TCU are nice teams but just a cut below.
This is so dumb and forced, but not as dumb and forced as an Employee Stock Ownership Plan joke would have been.
I have done many things in my life. Casually taking my dick out during a conversation with someone I've never talked to before is not one of them.
Seems like things at the Gordo924 house have already taken a turn for the worse.
Kept reading, but with a much more skeptical view.
On the one hand, yes.
How much time do you think a reviewer should spend playing a game, particularly an open world one, before writing their review? And how much time do you think the reviewer sound spend actually drafting, revising, etc. the review itself?
