It's so affirming to see Will Forte get recognition and all these roles as of late.

Yep. I read that the original creators/show runners are NOT returning next season and Ryan Murphy is taking over so I'm expecting a "True Detective Season 2" level drop in quality.
He's one of the most consistently bankable comedy stars in an era where people like Sandler have fallen off in major ways, so yes, of course people do.
Every season has always been 8 episodes. It also probably benefits the show by not re-running it so he can keep a low profile.
May have had something to do with SciFi (SyFy) picking the show up later. MST3K sounds like it has had some weird copyright bullshit over the years.
I'm hoping they dig into their reputation for canceling every single series they had after one season for almost a decade straight.
The Chappelle years should be a great read if only because they ended so quickly in a major clusterfuck that left the network in something of creative shambles for much of the later 2000s.
It was before he did 'Parks & Rec' so I'm guessing it was his first big writing job for television. Most comics would have a hard time saying no to a job that may lift them out of stand up obscurity.
No "Cool World" questions? What a fucking joke
If they don't discuss "Stella" I will be very upset
It's always disappointing to hear someone as talented and funny as Wittels helped create such a piece of shit show.
"A show about a superhero academy"
I googled this and can't find any info on it. Is he actually a joke thief or is this an attempt at humor?
I was shocked at how "Hell and Back" managed to attract such big name talent to it.
Between this and his 9/11 truther bullshit, he has to be fucking nuts
They actually have spent a lot of money on some series. Back before Chappelle ditched them, he was bringing them insane cash and they greenlit some pricey shows (they obviously didn't last)
Have they confirmed the last season is shortened? I know they discussed bringing it back for a shortened season but the press release they sent out didn't mention anything that makes it sound like it won't be a full season.
Broad City came about solely because Amy Poehler threw her name behind it. If she didn't produce it, CC would have never greenlit that show.
I don't think South Park's existence is "inexplicable". It makes the network hundreds of millions of dollars and remains very popular.
Drawn Together did really well in the post-South Park slot until Comedy Central decided to kill it for $$ issues.
