People are definitely trying to turn the plot into a race thing which is funny considering Dr. Brown is obviously far more intelligent and together than the white leads. These critics get far-reaching.

I don't think Jody Hill is for you.

"Eastbound and Down" was one of the most consistent and underrated series to air recently. It's amazing how much it flew under the radar too considering how unashamedly politically incorrect it was. I feel like Tumblr would have a field day with it if it was a bigger mainstream hit.

"Mostly uproarious"? Wrong, Eastbound and Down is a goddamn treasure.

Blasphemy

Will Bryan Cranston ever star in something good again?

Good riddance!

Good riddance!

Better they didn't make him a rockstar since the "washed up rock-star" is a tired and cliche comedy trope these days.

A lot of people were put off by it because they expected it to be 'Superbad in a mall' and got something far more sinister.

Real happy to see how much love for "Observe & Report" there is in the comment sections. When that film came out, it was incredibly divisive but it seems its gained a strong cult following in the past decade.

If he kept making View Askew stuff he would be in a better place but he really went off the deep end with Red State and Tusk.

This is the End was pretty damn original and crazy in the best way. Really surprised that didn't make the cut.

He ended up destroying his own cult fanbase.

Hill directed another movie set to come out in 2017 called "The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter" and it stars McBride and Josh Brolin. It sucks that it has taken nearly ten years for him to make another film but at least HBO will greenlight anything these guys want to do.

Jody Hill is one of the most underrated talents working in Hollywood. Can't wait to see how delightfully deranged this series will be.

The third season got fucked because Katy Mixon couldn't get out of her Mike & Molly CBS contract so they had to rewrite the season without her character in it for more than a couple episodes. HBO was able to secure her full-time for the fourth season and it turned out great.

I'd love to see Reed continue Frisky Dingo at Adult Swim once Archer's done but I don't think he left Adult Swim on great terms.
IIRC, Lazzo was pissed that Reed changed the focus of the second season to the campaign and not supervillain stuff. He canceled Frisky Dingo and ordered an X-tacles pilot that Reed wanted

Not really Chappelle's fault, more Comedy Central for counting their chickens before they hatched.

He could've handled it a lot more professionally. He put an entire crew and cast out of work. And I say that as a huge Chappelle fan.
