as a writer/film-maker who directs regularly for TV, I just want to say I would smash your face in if you said that to me in person. If you don't like it don't watch it. But don't tell the creators they should limit themselves to what they've done before just so you could revel in the comfort of monotony.

There's no difference in content, not like there are extra scenes, its just edited differently. Its just that the Christmas specials aren't stand alone longer specials. And no, doesn't get good, quite boring honestly with Mary being such an insufferable bitch.

She seems attached to Marigold at the very least. The only interaction we see with Mary and George is when the nanny brings the kids into the library.
