I’m with you. Beer is terrible, generally speaking.

Salvage yards are always buying.
If you hadn’t sold that GS you could be riding it instead of someone’s passenger seat.
The hell? I’m not talking about Japan. Where did you get that? The only time Japan was referenced was an offhanded kei truck comment.
Note - Light duty trucks tend to be taller as well. These just take it that bit farther.
Incorrect. Loads of cabover box trucks on the road. I handle claims for them on the regular. While they have essentially no front crumple zones, the occupants are also considerably higher than the usual line of impact. This imparts it’s own version of safety inherent to the design. A low-ass kei truck cabover is a…
I’m in. I heart cabovers. The hood is a useless waste of space.
“If You Ride A Motorcycle For Long, There’s A Very Good Chance You Will Crash.”
Nah, roadbike. I’m not good enough on a dirtbike nor do I have enough time to hit the TAT. It is on my radar though, as is a run up the ALCAN Highway. It’s been about a decade since I’ve ridden, so I’m relearning everything. A cross-country trip on road (secondaries and super-slab) is challenging enough at the moment.…
I don’t think they are particular comparable in terms of difficulty, but the similarities are clear nonetheless. I think i’d blame the tone on the video editor overall.
Honestly, all my planning was done without the idea of a support vehicle. I don’t even know what to do about taking one, as it’s just not necessary for…
I used to ride a motorcycle that had a whopping 21hp. It was terrifying to merge with. Do not want.
I’m planning a cross-country trip for next year. I may have a support vehicle. Is it because I’m weak? No, it’s because one of my best friends doesn’t ride a motorcycle but thinks the trip sounds rad so he offered to come along as a support vehicle.
Isle of Man still looks scarier. The Colombian race is crazy awesome though.
This was an almost shockingly honest, open piece. Thank you.
Crazy talk. Riding bikes? Pfft.
I think this has been my favorite Foxtrot Alpha article yet.
Pretty sure I’ve replied to this and just can’t find it, but I recently changed rides so why not update? I went from a 92 Yamaha Seca II XJ600 to a 95 Honda Pacific Coast PC800. Man, I get some looks, and, yes, I do like odd bikes. The PC800 is surprisingly fun to ride, comfortable as all get out, and honestly…
I ride a Honda Pacific Coast, which means I could easily get away with a cup holder, if only I had a way to mount one that didn’t include “drywall screws” in the how-to.
Yup, I bought an 88 300te a couple of years ago. I’ve put in one fuse (the funk volt protection relay fuse that causes the whole car to run like crap and ABS light to come on, thus I got it dirt cheap). I think since then I’ve changed the oil a couple of times and put a tire or two on it.
