He’s not likely to be removed via Senate vote, so this is really about damaging Trump publicly and politically. The longer you keep his illicit dealings on the front page, and dig to reveal other criminal acts, the better chance you have of bringing down his approval ratings and getting him voted out of office.

Not sure why they appear to be rushing this impeachment. Dems can use the GOP’s witness, Turley’s own words against them by taking his advice not to do this quickly. Instead, drag it out as long as possible, and uncover more and more wrongdoing on Trump and his administration’s behalf.
